Welcome to Best of Central California presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

Central California is known as a hub of agriculture, with a thriving culinary scene and numerous parks and attractions for outdoor enthusiasts. Like most cities in America, the area’s economy continues to grow, and it has placed a renewed focus on revitalizing and expanding the downtown core. The Fresno Bee is once again presenting Best of Central California in 2024 to engage the community in celebrating the places, restaurants, and local businesses we love.

 

In 2023, we received more than 445,000 votes from over 136,000 voters! That is a 40% increase over the previous year. There were 4,500 businesses competing this year, and we are pleased to award 656 of them with 891 Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. With this year’s increased competition, winning Best of Central California is truly an accomplishment and we can't wait to see what 2024 has in store!
