Joseph Kieta

Joseph (Joe) Kieta has served as editor of The Fresno Bee and the Merced Sun-Star since February 2018. He is responsible for all of The Bee’s content and serves on its editorial board. He lives in Fresno and is a native of suburban Cleveland.

Bethany Clough

Bethany Clough covers restaurants and retail for The Fresno Bee. A reporter for 20 years, she now works to answer readers’ questions about business openings, closings and other business news. She has a degree in journalism from Syracuse University and her last name is pronounced Cluff.

Tad Weber

Tad Weber is The Bee’s opinion editor. As such, he writes local editorials, chooses Valley Voices and letters to the editor. Prior, he was The Fresno Bee metro Editor, and the managing editor of The (San Luis Obispo) Tribune.

Through our deeply rooted commitment to the role of local journalism, and updated features like The Best of Central California, The People’s Choice, presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino, we become a catalyst for informed engagement, greater understanding, and deeper community connections.
